Mandatory Ethics Training
All REALTORS® members are required to complete a minimum of 2.5 hours of approved Code of Ethics training per four year cycle. The current cycle is January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2008.
Failure to complete the required periodic ethics training shall be considered a violation of a membership duty for which REALTORS® membership shall be suspended until such time as the required training is completed.
National Association of REALTORS® Online Course: This course can be completed in one (2 ½ hours) session or in multiple parts completed within 30 days from when you start the course. As a member this is a free benefit for you, but does not provide any continuing education hours for license renewal.
WAAR’s Policy on the NAR Quadrennial Ethics Requirement
To fulfill the NAR Quadrennial Ethics training requirement, Members shall be required to take an Ethics course offered by any REALTOR® Association including the online course offered on realtor.org and classroom presentations.
